Stock availability and pricing

All Le Beau Cheval products shown are subject to availability. Whilst every effort is made to ensure pricing and availability is maintained there may be occasions where this will not be possible. We therefore retain the right to discontinue items from the range and change prices where applicable. Staff will be able to advise you on all stock availability and pricing.

Please note we do not sell fabric by the metre, we only sell finished garments.

Colours, measurement and description

Every effort is made to ensure that the information provided on this website is correct at time of going to press. Please note that because of photographic and printing processes, goods may not be exactly the same colour as shown on the website. All measurements are approximate.

We offer 'over the phone' support with a member of our skilled team where you can understand how and where to measure yourself and your current jacket with our guidance. You can thoroughly talk through a number of specific details we need, discuss how to choose your fabric, buttons, lining, collar and pocket jets all with our expert opinion and advice. You have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have to ensure you are 100% happy with your choices. Email support also available but your final choices are discussed and confirmed via a phone call only, where you then pay your deposit and your order is placed.

Once the bespoke garment is made to the agreed size and specifications, any changes you may require must be discussed as to whether it can be done and will incur a full charge.

Le Beau Cheval can not be held responsible for measurements supplied by the customer if these are incorrect. If a bespoke garment does not fit due to this error, a full alteration fee will incur.

Ordering and delivery

We aim to despatch shipments within two working days (Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays) after the order was placed, subject to availability. This includes items in stock, smaller bespoke and made to order items; including jodhpurs, ready tied ties and buttonholes. For Bespoke, Made to Measure and made to order larger items; including Jackets, Gillets & Lead Rein Outfits, delivery may take longer - the customer is advised of this when placing the order. Overseas orders may take longer depending on shipping times. The customer is notified of all the above on ordering.

All orders are despatched via Royal Mail or DPD Local with a tracking number and require a signature on receipt.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

We must be notified within 7 days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt investigation.

For Bespoke, Made to Measure and Made to Order items; including Jackets, Gillets & Lead Rein Outfits, £100 non refundable deposit per item is required on placing the order. For smaller items and everything else, full payment is required on placing the order. Delivery on these items will vary depending on individual order requirements, customers are advised to contact Le Beau Cheval direct for advice. All orders must be paid in full prior to despatch. Balance payments must be made within 2 weeks of completion of the larger items where a deposit has been paid. Failure to complete the payment within this time will result in the deposit being retained and the item being offered for sale as a stock item.

Postage and Packing

Postage is via our Courier service, Royal Mail recorded 1st class or Royal Mail Special Delivery – the most appropriate method of delivery will be used at our discretion. Next day delivery options are available. Prices can be advised on request when placing an order. International delivery charges are available on request.

Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges

Unspoiled goods may be returned at the customers expense for exchange or refund for up to 7 days after delivery provided they are still in the original packaging. Soiled goods, Bespoke, Personalised, Made to Measure and Made to Order items will not be considered for refund or exchange, this does not affect your statutory rights. Customers are advised to return items with proof of purchase using traceable post and complete and include the pre-printed returns form enclosed in the original delivery. All returns must be sent to the Returns Department at Le Beau Cheval – returns will not be accepted at the Trade Stand unless by prior arrangement.

By law we do not have to offer a refund unless goods are faulty (Changing your mind doesn't mean we have to give you a refund).

10% restocking fee and £1.50 refund charge on all Cards shall apply.

Strictly no returns on: Riding hats, Top Hats, Bespoke Clothing, Sale and Special Offer items.

We must be notified of any alterations required to bespoke jackets within 7 days of receipt of the item. After this time a full alteration cost plus return postage charge will be incurred.


No credit agreements will be entered into.


These terms apply to your order. We may change our Terms & Conditions at any time so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
